Two .NET exception reports

description

Hello,

First of all my compliments for your interesting project, it looks promising.

Unfortunately I got two error messages when I tried to run GPdotNET with the provided sample data sets.
The first one occured after the action File > New. After loading a set (in this case downjones_timeseries.csv) I noticed that the Functions tab was completely empty. I ignored this and went to the Run tab and pressed Start which resulted in another error message. Please see attached file for both messages.

Hope this helps and good luck with the further development!
Regards,

Bas Zimmerman

First of all thanks for compliment.
If you downloaded only bin files, the reason for error is support for ParallelFx and .NET 3.5 SP1. See System Requirements at http://gpdotnet.codeplex.com/documentation.
To run GPdotNET you have to install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and ParallelFX CTPJune 2008, which you can download freely at Microsoft.com.
I checked one more time my release version and it seems it works correctly, and all files neccessery to run app is there. Functions are loaded from FunctionSet.xml so if this file is in GPdotNET folder, Function tab must not to be empty.

If you still have trouble to run GPdotNET after this suggesstions, please let me know.
Regards.

Thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately upgrading my .net framework isn't an option since my OS version, Windows 2000, isn't supported, too bad :(
